Xerneas Active Learning is challenging and in a human and natural Peregrine pre-college curriculum we develop citizens and leaders engage in finding peaceful and Sustainable Solutions to local and Global challenges my favorite thing about being that of school get is embracing in the practices that surround you education educational teaching practices and standards and we really try to call today and Innovative way of delivering instruction because students are are engaged in classrooms are productive places where students aren't just working quietly by themselves there's a dynamic Continuum of things that students are riding their discussing their speaking their mind because there's a lot of Hands-On activities we do school trips whether that being destroyed island or International we do lots of things in nature and so all those things are learning actively cuz I'm doing more than just sitting in a classroom the Green School challenging and that is Orthopedic think about things in ways that you usually wouldn't wear your support to look at food through the lens of math or energy through the lens of English and you're really forced to look at the topic from so many different angles and it really pushes ran away is it normally wouldn't seem learning at the Greene school is collaborative for student they constantly having the opportunity to turn and talk to their neighbor they have the opportunity to be working together to create in to build apply for student they are able to attack things from all of these different directions and all these different perspectives they're allowed to try on different hats and by doing that they're allowed to try on these different ideas and allowed to explore their own opinion than their own moral compass through learning and through the different subject areas learn from each other and get new ideas from each other out of the financial status of where they come from where they live background equal opportunity to learn NSA fun helpful environment and feel like it and green School takes care of kids from all walks of life was probably the diversity and it's not just if places you come from it's different ethnicities you have different religions different cultures different sexualities to everybody here comes with an open mind and you just accepted no matter who you are. Just great to me when you make learning public as a student when that student knows that what they've done what they research what they put their hard work into is going to go beyond the classroom that student takes an extra sense of Pride on the cross cruise ship of the rigger it allows the student to really do the best work to show what they know to people outside of their classroom many different backgrounds and learning experiences in a learning system that allows us to explore the role in which they play one in their learning and two within the larger context of the community in which they serve whether it's do Environmental Studies or exploring their role in the sustainability I'm sofa Jacquizz or equality our students are engaged in meaningful ways through creative teaching and through independent exploration of the opportunities the connections between our teachers and the students the lot more close and personal then it is a feeling of the school in general you kind of really developed bonds that we need to do it in and also get your teacher and I just really like that my favorite thing about being a green School parent is the excitement that my children have income in school each and every day they're excited to come to school they like the bearing of experiences the fact that they get to go different places they get to go outside it's not just a sad kind of traditional learning situation is more of an experiential learning situation and they take that the heart made like that neighborly enjoy it knowing that they want them to walk away knowing that they are leaders wake me up standards in the world did the things they do in the things they say in the things they believe make a difference and they have an impact
