Each student will also meet with their counselor at the end of Semester 1 to check in about their transition to high school, academic trajectory and social/emotional challenges.
 
Grade 10

All 11th graders will participate in the PSAT NMSQT in the Fall and the School Day SAT in the Spring. Students are also encouraged to sign up for at least one other SAT or ACT testing date. In the Spring of 11th grade, Juniors will meet individually with their counselor to discuss post-secondary plans.
 
 
Grade 12

In the first semester of 12th grade, Seniors will meet individually with their counselor as they finalize post-secondary plans.
 
 
IMPORTANT FAFSA INFORMATION FOR SENIORS:
In order to apply for financial aid for college, the Free Application for Student Aid ( FAFSA) can be submitted after October 1 based on the previous years taxes of both the parent/guardian and student if they have completed a tax return.  For help and questions regarding the FAFSA and the Pro file forms, please set up a free appointment with the College Planning Center of RI
 
We will hold a financial aid night at The Greene School during the first week of November. If you do not think you can attend, we will be forwarding information regarding other events such as these happening around the state.
