Learning is Public at The Greene School

On April 8th, our sophomore class traveled to the state house to present their own research of a particular environmental toxin, such as dioxin, ozone, and PFA's.  The expedition titled: Nature and Society: The Tale of Two Cities in Providence.  One side has green spaces and clean air and the other is a victim of environmental injustice.

On April 29th, our Junior Class invited middle school students from The San Miguel School and Segue Institute for Learning to our campus to participate in six different stations as a culmination of Rhode Island Environmental Education Association Youth Leadership work.  They hiked around our pond, learned about raptors, and worked in our solar greenhouse.
