Farmers Markets

The Green School’s focus as an Expeditionary Learning school is its drive toward sustainability and environmental awareness, preparing its student population to become future ambassadors of the environment.  Addressing topics such as food and nutrition, supporting locally grown produce, The Greene School has established a strong link with many Farmers Markets within Rhode Island.  Information on Farmers Markets is available at the official Department of Environment, Division of Agriculture, Directory of Rhode Island Farmers' Markets and at the Farm Fresh RI web site.
