Welcome to Transportation Central...where all of your questions about how your child will get to/from The Greene School are answered.
The Greene School is a public school. Therefore, students who live within the busing Region #4 will receive regular district busing provided through Statewide RIDE at no charge to you.
Towns within Region #4: Charlestown, Exeter, Hopkinton, Jamestown, Narragansett, New Shoreham, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, West Greenwich, Westerly. If you live in Region #4, Statewide RIDE is the place/website you call/visit to let them know your child will be attending The Greene School, rather than your own district high school. Statewide RIDE can be reached at 222-5024, or you can fill out this handy on-line application.
For general information about Statewide RIDE, click here.
Not on the list for Region #4? No worries! Through two generous grants from the Lattner Foundation, the Greene School has purchased 2 bio-diesel school buses, and offers your child a ride to and from school at no cost to you!
If you live in Coventry, Cranston, Central Falls, Johnston, Pawtucket, East Providence, Providence, Warwick, West Warwick, you will need to fill out this transportation request form and send either by e-mail or regular mail to: The Greene School, 94 John Potter Road, Unit #3, West Greenwich, RI 02817.
