Transportation to TGS

Welcome to Transportation Central...where all of your questions about how your child will get to/from The Greene School are answered.

The Greene School is a public school. Therefore, students who live within the busing Region #4 will receive regular district busing provided through Statewide RIDE at no charge to you.

Towns within Region #4:  Charlestown, Exeter, Hopkinton, Jamestown, Narragansett, New Shoreham, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, West Greenwich, Westerly. If you live in  Region #4, Statewide RIDE is the place/website you call/visit to let them know your child will be attending The Greene School, rather than your own district high school. Statewide RIDE can be reached at 222-5024, or you can fill out this handy on-line application.

For general information about Statewide RIDE, click here.

Not on the list for Region #4?  No worries!  Through two generous grants from the Lattner Foundation, the Greene School has purchased 2 bio-diesel school buses, and offers your child a ride to and from school at no cost to you!
