Fall Auction
Held on the first Friday of November, The Greene School’s Annual Auction on the Greene boasts items made from our own students to items donated generously from our community members. Lucky auction winners from our 2011 Auction took home items such as an iPad, trips, and an unforgettable experience with saw-whet owls! This is a wonderful fundraising event that our whole community can come together to enjoy! This year's Annual 2012 Auction on the Greene will be held at Quidnessett Country Club in North Kingstown on November 2nd. Join us for a night of fun!
Winter Wreath Sale
Deck the halls and order your wreaths to adorn your homes this year! Our annual Winter Wreath Sale is a popular fundraiser held in November by the PTSO. Many of our families enjoy ordering wreaths and our crews often compete to see who can sell the most!
100 Mile Radius Dinner
This annual event that happens in the Spring is the final culmination to one of our school’s learning intensives “Farm to Table.” Our students plan, prepare and serve a delicious multi-course gourmet meal using food grown within a hundred mile radius of our school. This dinner always brings tremendous accolades from the community members who attend. It is always exciting to anticipate what mouth-watering food the students will prepare at our next dinner!
Science Center/Learning Lab
We are excited to be planning for our new Science Center/Learning lab! This will be a hub for our students to experience weekly science classes and immersions. Our new Science Center/Learning Lab will be located on the W. Alton Jones campus of URI in West Greenwich, a short distance from our school. We are currently raising funds and planning for this wonderful new site. Stay tuned for more information!
Capital Campaign
The Greene School continues to plan and anticipate when we have our own green sustainable building on the W. Alton Jones Campus of URI in West Greenwich. We anticipate the new Science Center/Learning Lab will be a great first step as we move to relocate to our future permanent location.
